Artist Statement

". . . poets . . . create from the very depths of the collective unconscious, voicing aloud what others only dream."

CG Jung "Collected Works" p.6

When we encounter a work of art, we intuitively search for its meaning.   I am interested in a way of seeking answers to who we are and what we will become, a personal journey we can witness.

In my work, visual elements are suppressed or subtracted in order to be articulated. Narrative is disrupted, while the image is broken down. There is something within these gaps that interests me.
